Chapter 47 - 33: Blood Clan’s Troubles
In the dead of night, a bat struggled to carry a water jug as it flew over the castle. After circling around once, it quickly returned, landing on the castle wall. It looked around cautiously, dragging the jug as it crawled like a mouse.
After confirming it wasn’t noticed, it leapt from the wall and glided straight toward Yilin’s main residence.
In a tower a few dozen meters away, two angels were staring at it in a daze.
"Dinner is here," the male angel commented.
It was clear that this was no ordinary bat.
After stealthily avoiding two patrolling guards, it found a crack in a window to squeeze through into the main residence. It then quietly flew a short distance down a dimly lit hallway, descended the stairs, and finally hung on the door of a room on the first floor.
After another quick check to ensure safety, it slipped through the already-open crack in the door.
"Lord Jones! Sorry to keep you waiting! Dora is here!"
With a crisp "bang," amid a faint puff of smoke, the bat transformed into a silver-haired little girl dressed in a suit, looking about ten years old.
Her black eyes were sharp and delicate, her eyebrows like swords, her nose high and straight, her skin deathly pale, wearing a black doll dress. Although she appeared to be only ten, her movements were more skilled than those of a seasoned warrior.
After landing stably, she knelt on one knee, presenting the jug with both hands.
