"How could he ask me something like that?" Shelley muttered to herself angrily as she walked down the street.
The five maids following closely behind were at a loss.
"If I answered, wouldn’t that make me seem like a frivolous woman?"
*"But if I just walked away like that, wouldn’t he be upset?"*
*"Should I go back now?"* Shelley stopped in her tracks and looked back, her face as red as an apple.
*"If I go back and he asks me that question again, what should I do? I don’t even know the answer. How am I supposed to respond?"* Talking to herself, Shelley suddenly froze: *"Oh, that’s right, I really don’t know. Why didn’t I just tell him that?"*
So, the five maids followed her as she walked back.

As you know, the more you don’t want a curious person to know something, the more they want to know it, to the point of doing whatever it takes.
Clearly, Lich belonged to this kind of species.
There’s a saying, "Curiosity killed the cat." Why doesn’t it say "Curiosity killed the Lich"? Probably because the Lich is already dead and can’t die again.
