Chapter 133: Erik Was Poisoned
"I have to go. Tell the waiter to put the tab on me." He hurriedly left. He ran to his car and started the engine but he remembered Aryana told him to contact Alex."
He dialed Alex’s number and he picked up after two rings.
"What’s up?" Alex was surprised that Marlon called.
"Something happened to Erik. Aryana is on her way to the hospital. Be ready to receive him. Aryana said he passed out and cannot wake up."
"Okay, I’ll make arrangement now." Alex hung up.
Marlon put his cellphone on speaker and called the head of security department. "Check the CCTV footage at the CEO office. Check what happened to Erik and when he passed out and send the video to me."
He stepped on the gas pedal until it reached the floor. Cars were honking at him but he ignored them.
Aryana’s tears were flowing like torrents but she was not making any sound at all. Erik was so hot and she needed to calm down. She moved to the corner of the car to give more room for Erik’s body so she can lay him down on her lap. She needed to lower his temperature first.
She removed his neck tie and opened two buttons of his shit. She took a water bottle from the storage bin at the side of the car and wet her handkerchief.
She removed excess water from the handkerchief before wiping his forehead and his neck and exposed chest. She took a paper towel and patted the areas she wiped to ensure that Erik was dry.
"Erik, Honey, please wake up. Don’t scare me." She kept talking to him trying to wake him up while repeating the process of wiping his forehead his face and his chest with the damp handkerchief and patting them dry until they reached the hospital.
