Chapter 130: We Are Only Business Partners Nothing More!
After Erik’s call, Aryana checked her watch and was surprised to see that it was almost 9:00 pm.
"Time sure flies fast. I didn’t notice it was almost 9:00 pm. It’s time for me to go Clark. Thank you for dinner. Next time it’s on me." Aryana put on her eyeglasses and the hoodie and prepared to leave.
"I can send you home." Clark scrambled to his feet.
It’s okay. My ride is already outside waiting for me." She said then she turned and left.
Clark called the waiter and settled the bill. He was in a good mood. He found Aryana’s company enjoyable.
When Aryana went out of the restaurant, a black Rolls-Royce stopped in front of her. She did not wait for the driver to get off but she took it upon herself to open the door in the back seat.
The moment she opened the door, an overpowering fragrance assaulted her nose. She stepped back and hesitated.
"Get in!" Erik’s impatient voice caused her to hurriedly get inside and settle down in her seat. The car roared and disappeared.
At the restaurant, Clark’s happy mood was replaced by a frown. Did he just see Aryana get into a limited edition Rolls-Royce? In Central District, only a few people have that model of Rolls-Royce. He has one and also Erik Lee.
Aryana took off her eyeglasses and put them back in its case and into her bag. She used her hoodie to cover her nose.
"Why is there an overpowering scent of perfume in your car?" Aryana asked and sneezed afterward.
