Chapter 123: A Business Idea
"She woke up but went to sleep again. The effect of the anesthesia has not worn off yet." The nurse told Vince.
Jessa was carefully transferred to her bed and when she was settled, the nurses from the operating room left.
Jessa’s long eyelashes fluttered and her fingers moved slightly.
"Vince." She said softly. Her voice still hoarse and almost inaudible.
"Jessa, you are finally awake." Vince held her hand and brought it to his lips and kissed it gently. His eyes reddened.
Aryana was touched to see the gentleness in the way Vince kissed his wife. He really loved Jessa.
"My head feels so heavy and I am dizzy." She said with difficulty. She still seemed muddle headed.
"Let’s call the doctor." Aryana pressed the bell and a nurse rushed in.
"The patient is awake. Please call the doctor."
A doctor in his early thirties came. After checking the patient, he left instructions to administer pain reliever and steroids and for the patient to rest as much as possible.
Aryana did not linger in the hospital. She understood that Vince would like to spend private time with his wife.
