Chapter 122: What a Tacky Taste
Back at the Penthouse, Aryana spent a peaceful dinner with Erik. Erik went to his study and called the bodyguard. He was angry.
"I assigned you to watch over her and how did that man come near her." Erik’s voice was icy cold. The body guard on the other line felt a chill ran down his spine.
"I’m sorry Boss. I failed Miss Jones. She was still at the ward when I need to pee. When I came back, she was already outside the hotel and that man was grabbing her by the wrist." He paused and waited for Erik to say something but Erik was silent.
"I broke the man’s right hand and he is still at the car park. Punish me the way you see fit boss. I failed on my job." The man on the other line held his breath as he waited for Erik to tell him his punishment.
"I’ll let it pass this time but there will be no next time."
"Thank you Boss. I will not fail next time."
Erik contemplated for a while. He was thinking whether to ruin Congresman’s Garses assistant or not. In the end he decided that breaking his arm was enough punishment. He might put Aryana in an even greater danger if he do more reckless things.
Aryana was very attractive she was like a nectar attracting a lot of bees. Erik hated it. He was thinking whether it was time to publicly announce their relationship. After a long time Erik concluded that it wasn’t the right time yet. There were unknown forces who were targeting him and he might implicate Aryana if they knew that she is his wife.

The following day, Aryana asked Elaine to accompany her to the mall before she go to the hospital. She was wearing a simple jeans, and a white shirt and a hoodie.
Erik has a social event to attend and he will be dining outside with a business partner so he consented when Aryana asked him permission to visit the hospital.
