Chapter 98: Important Guests
Late Monday morning, a concerned Marlon entered Aryana’s cubicle.
"Erik requested for you at the board room." He said a little bit bothered.
Aryana frowned. "Isn’t there an important meeting with the delegations from Europe? What has it to do with me?" She arched an eyebrow and she really looked cute.
Marlon just shrugged his shoulders as he led Aryana into the big board room.
When Aryana entered the meeting room, she could feel the tension in the air. She quickly scanned the room and saw that other than Erik, his Grandpa and a few board of directors were present. It was a very important meeting considering the status of the people who were in attendance.
She heard one of the guests complained in German. ’We are just going in circles. We have been here for two hours and they cannot understand us.’
Erik’s expression turned cold. He did not fully understood what the German said but he was able to grasp his meaning.
Aryana was wearing an emerald green dress and a black coat. Her hair was neatly brushed and hung freely on her back and shoulders. She wore a light make up and she looked refreshing.
"Good morning everyone." She smiled and greeted warmly. The two dimples at the corner of her mouth were visible for a few moments.
