Chapter 42: Kidnapped Part 2
The car turned chilly. The driver opened the door and got out and went to open the door at the back seat. Under the dull light coming from the lamp post, the driver stood tall. His shadow looked as if a ghost was crawling out of hell.
Aryana cowered and scooted as far away from that side of the door. Without warning, the door opened and Aryana who was leaning on the door fell down. But she hurriedly got up.
The driver who was still standing at the other side of the car smiled and it sent shivers down Aryana’s spine.
She hurriedly took stock of her surroundings. She did not notice earlier when they entered a fenced bungalow. The fence was over two meters and there was barbed wire on top. The metal gate was also high. There was another car parked in the garage and a motorcycle.
’Where could he be keeping the key of the motorcycle?’
If only she can drive a car she could have already taken her chances earlier. She regretted why she did not learn to drive a car.
"My pretty Naiad, this is my lair and escape is impossible." He said in a low hoarse voice. He walked towards her in unhurried steps. His eyes have an evil glint in them. He has an ugly scar on the right side of his face that extended up to his upper brow.
Aryana stepped back. He laughed hard.
"And I thought you were different from the rest. You were so brave and calm earlier. You were just like everyone else. As soon as you see this scar, you think that I am a monster." He menacingly went near her and Aryana could sense so much anger and hatred in his voice.
He gripped Aryana’s chin and forced her to look at his face. Aryana frowned because of the pain.
"I am not scared of you." Aryana spat and looked him in the eyes.
