Chapter 41: Kidnapped
Aryana and Antonio did another take of the scene and this time Antonio did not play any trick anymore. They finished the scene after the third attempt. Aryana changed into a yellow sundress with small blue flower designs. She wore a straw hat and sunglasses and she walked hand and hand with Antonio on the cobbled pathway surrounding the pool.
They shoot two more scenes before taking a break for lunch.
"Aryana, Amy, I’ll walk with you to the restaurant. Bay view restaurant is reserved for the models and the crew today." Antonio lead the way and Aryana had no choice but to follow because Amy was dragging her along.
"Mr. Lopez, I don’t normally believe in coincidences. How did you become my partner today." Aryana blatantly asked him.
"Why so formal now? Earlier you called me Antonio." He frowned.
They reached the restaurant and a waiter escorted them to their table. Antonio pulled a chair for Aryana but she pushed Amy into it while she sat opposite him. Antonio was furious and it showed on his handsome face.
"To answer your question, I asked specifically for you to be my partner." He answered her in a charming way. "So you prefer my front and you don’t like to look at my side profile that’s why you chose to sit in front of me eh? No matter which vantage you look at me, I am still handsome."
’What a conceited man.’ She looked at him harshly but kept the words to herself.
Antonio flirted with and pestered her the entire afternoon. Aryana has to put up with it as she did not want to draw attention to her. She was thankful when they were called to do the last scene.
