Chapter 162: Disdain
Han Jun prepared a room at Mandarin Oriental Hotel, one of the best hotels of S city. It was filled with entertainment facilities for the group of students.
Qin Yan looked at her friends preparing so much for her and a wave of warmth passed through her heart. She felt fortunate to find such a group of friends even in this life.
She was not surprised at her results as she had already expected this. She looked at her cellphone and sighed. She didn’t get a call from her moonpie. In fact when she texted him asking about his whereabouts, he told her that he was on a business trip.

Lu Yaran came out of the prison haggard. She had suffered quite a bit in the prison. Her being arrogant did not help her even a bit. The prison cell had a leader whom Lu Yaran had offended. She thus suffered beatings almost regularly.
When she came out of the prison, Lu Yaran did not see anyone from Qin family waiting for her. She was disappointed. She had not expected anything from Qin Yicheng but she expected her beloved daughter Qin Muran to be there.
However, she could not complain. So, Lu Yaran took a taxi back home.
Reaching the Qin villa, she instructed the guard to pay for the taxi and she entered the villa in the haggard state. The guard had a hard time recognizing her.
The Qin family was also preparing for a banquet for Qin Muran and thus Qin Yicheng and Qin Muran were busy doing all the arrangements.
Qin Yicheng specially prepared for the banquet as it was extremely necessary for him to uphold his reputation. He had curbed the news regarding Lu Yaran but still some people came to know it and thus different kinds of rumours were spreading in the circle.
This banquet would bring the focus on Qin Muran and it would bring up the Qin family back to its glory. Hence, Qin Yicheng took this banquet very seriously.
