The little guy was having breakfast when Qin Yan asked him, "Darling, where is your dad?"
The little guy chewed the piece of apple in his mouth and replied, "He has gone out for a while."
Qin Yan’s eyes lit up hearing this. She could now play with the little bun alone, "Darling, you finish your breakfast, I will be back in few minutes, okay?"
The little bun was confused looking at Qin Yan’s excited face but still replied, "Okay."
Hearing the little guy’s approval, Qin Yan patted his head, "Good boy!" and sprinted away.
Xiaobao’s face turned red and he lowered his head.
After a while, a pair of footsteps appeared at the door.
"Darling! I’m back!" Qin Yan’s voice sounded out.
The little fella immediately put down the objects in his hands and walked over to Qin Yan. He stood in front of her and lifted his little head to look at her with sparkling eyes. "Sister Yan!"
Qin Yan’s heart was shaken instantly by the little boy’s adorable gaze. She tousled his hair gently. "Darling, have you finished your breakfast?"
The little fella acted like a furry little animal. He squinted his eyes and rubbed his head against Qin Yan’s warm hands and nodded firmly. "En!"
