If you cannot develop a basic trust for them, your relationship will fall apart. So what I want to say is just stay aware of your surroundings and the people surrounding you but just because one person has betrayed you, Don’t assume that everyone will do the same, okay?"
Xu Dong and Xu Lei understood what Father Xu wanted to explain. They were both adults and they were aware of the things that Father Xu said but their hearts were not ready to accept these facts.
Maybe this was the reason that having elders in the family was beneficial. Parents had seen the world much more than the children and had enough experience to guide their children in tough times. So at the times when one felt confused and puzzled, when one’s mind is messed up, a simple talk with the elders could solve many problems.
Xu Dong nodded at the realisation that hit him and confirmed once again, "So does everyone agree that I should contact that lady and seek treatment for Lei Lei?"
"Yes!" the other three people of the Xu family said with determined gazes.
"Okay!" Xu Dong agreed eventually.

Qin Yan was resting on the couch while watching the television. She had too much on her plate recently and did not find time to rest. Now that she got some ’me’ time, she felt relaxed in this state.
Just as she changed the TV channel, she heard her doorbell ring. ’Who is it at this time?’ she wondered lazily.
She got up and opened the door to see the person whom she had expected. As there was no call from the entrance of the society and the bell rang, there could only be two people, either Yun Jian or Xi Ting. Yun Jian had left for the capital and thus the person on the door was most probably Xi Ting.
