Chapter 790: Entering the Immortal World
Immortal World, Outer Haven’s Edge.
It didn’t take long for the group to reach the Immortal World. They didn’t go directly to any city just at the edge of the world and disembark in something like a forest as they try to find a way to find a place with people. The first one among the group to separate was the Elf King Andromeda. He will be heading to the lost star which is said to be the ruined site that used to be a world where the largest World Tree existed. It was a few dimensions away from the Immortal World. Well he just wanted to make sure that his great granddaughter would safely reach the upper realm.
Elf King Andromeda said, "Xue’er, it’s time for your great grandpa to go."
"Great Grandfather, you take this ship. You said your vehicle is broken on your way to the Moon Star. You can have this one. We can go by foot here. I am not in a hurry to return to the Core Haven anyway," The Moon Goddess said.
The Elf King didn’t decline as he truly needed a flying vehicle to venture into space to find the broken world where he used to live. Moreover, his world after dying became a ruined star whose coordinate had become unknown after years.
"Thank you, Xue’er. But remember, do not overdo it. Moreover, upon entering this world, you guys might get separated from one another. A lot of things have changed now and this world will most likely observe you the most. Be careful," Elf King Andromeda said.
The Moon Goddess didn’t seem to be surprised when she heard that this world’s heavenly laws would most likely be interested in her. After all, she had a living heavenly will by her side and that it can also devour other world’s heavenly wills making her a dangerous existence to all worlds.
Yue Xuexia said, "I will be careful. Great Grandfather should watch out for enemies as well. Also I made some potions that accelerate plant growth. I don’t know if it will have effects on Great Grandmother but try it as it might work."
After receiving a few more gifts from his great granddaughter, everyone had disembarked from the flying ship when they were just above the Immortal World’s atmosphere. They watch as the flying ship leaves the premises and brings only the Elf King. Once they can no longer see the ship everyone prepares to enter the Immortal World. It can be said that this world is hundred times larger than the Exiled Star. It was also larger than the other stars they have seen on the way.
Yue Xuexia said, "Let’s go in. We might get separated as we enter this world but... don’t panic and just find the nearest area where you can find a gathering of people. A small village, a town, anything is possible. Just keep yourself safe until we meet again."
"Zhi’er, you stay in my inner world for now." The Moon Goddess said.
She also looked at the Tan Clan asking them if they wanted to stay in her inner world so they would be together as they arrived in the Immortal World. But always, there will be a burden for those who let people stay in their inner world as they enter this world especially if the people are not connected to her by blood or by contract.
Yue Zhiya and the other flower children cannot leave a burden on the Moon Goddess’s body as they are connected by blood and contracts. So they will not be considered as a stowaway by this world. However, it’s a different case for the Tan Clan. They are neither connected by blood or contact though they are the Moon Goddess’s subordinates.
Tan Bingyu said, "Mistress, you aren’t that well yet. It’s alright if we entered together with you."
"You might get separated that way though," said Yue Xuexia.
The members of the Hidden Tang Sect, Tang Yuan, knowing what is making the group, he stepped in and gave away a few red strings.
"Please use this. We have some extras. You only need to tie it to each other’s wrist so even upon entering you wouldn’t get separated from one another. There are only three extras though," Tang Yuan said.
Tang Yuyi looked at the strings and said, "Before you can enter the Immortal World without a need for such. Just what happened all these years?"
"Foster Mother, you know that our world had lost the last few Cosmos Battles after the death of the Immortal Sun Emperor, so our World’s Heavenly Laws become like this. Strict towards entering the world especially for outsiders," said Tang Yuan. "But it’s not that dangerous, since we are entering from the outskirts we will definitely be spread in this area as well."
The Moon Goddess accepted the three red strings and tied the three couples together. As for herself, there is no need, she can pretend to be another person upon entering this world. She already planned to wear the mask artifact her master had given to her to hide her identity and use an ordinary face to move around in this world.
She looked at Monk Xu and said, "Monk Xu, I have brought you back to your world safely. I apologize for what my foster son did accidentally bringing you to our world. This is my compensation to you."
The Moon Goddess had given the monk a space bag full of spirit stones, pills and a few weapons that fit him. The Monk knew that this gift is a way for the Goddess to cut off her karma with him and he didn’t mind this.
"Benefactor, thank you for safely bringing this monk here. I will excuse myself now," Monk Xu Jin said before entering the Immortal World on his own.
Yue Xuexia said, "Be careful. I will find a way to find the Hidden Tang Sect. Everyone, let’s meet there."
"Yes, Mistress!"
It was only then did their group enter the Immortal World. That their group had been indeed split and Yue Xuexia was only one among their group that opened her place filled with clouds and a person standing not far from her. It was a beautiful woman that looked so holy and ethereal at the same time. Yue Xuexia upon seeing the woman was so sure that she is not a human. She tried to contact her system, Qiuqiu and was surprised that there was no response no matter how many times she called him.
’Qiuqiu, who is this woman? Qiuqiu? Qiuqiu?’ the thoughts of the Moon Goddess as she tried to call her system.
The woman suddenly chuckled and said, "He won’t be able to hear your voice in this place. This is my domain after all~"
The woman was observing the reaction of the Moon Goddess who remained calm before her presence. What made her wonder is how can this young lady remain emotionless in this situation? Faced with the unknown, any mortal would panic regardless of their control over their emotions. Among the beings, only those who are immortal themselves or beings that don’t fear death would react this way.
"Why are you not afraid of me?" The holy woman asked.
The Moon Goddess thought for a moment and said, "Because I haven’t done anything wrong yet. Well, except for using a few curses to punish some people of this world. Is the senior going to scold or punish me for that reason?"
"Haha~ of course not. Feel free to handle all of them. Most of those guys are originally outsiders after all." The holy woman said as she stretched her hand towards Yue Xuexia as if wanting to help her stand up.
Yue Xuexia only hesitated for a few seconds and held out her hand as she was pulled up by the holy woman, a table full of sweets and desserts as well as drinks appeared before them. The holy woman took a seat at one of the empty seats while she took the other one.
"My little sweetie, you might already guess who I am right?~" The holy woman said as she served some cranberry milk tea to Yue Xuexia.
The Moon Goddess nods her head as she accepts the cup of tea with milk and carefully sips on it as it is made hot.
"Oh, I forgot you don’t like it hot," the holy woman said as she moved her hand as the cup in Yue Xuexia’s hand changed into a glass with milk, tea, ice and straw.
Yue Xuexia said, "Thank you."
"So who do you think I am, Sweetie?" The holy woman asked.
Yue Xuexia looked at the smiling, gorgeous woman in front of her and said, "Immortal World’s Heavenly Will."
"Ping Pong! My little sweetie got right. So since you’ve guessed it right, let’s talk about you," said the holy woman who had appeared before the Moon Goddess or most likely dragged her into this realm just to have this current conversation between the two of them.
