Chapter 769: Yue Zhiya Escapes
Tan Bingyu went to visit her mistress after seeing the two guests out. She informed her about the invitation and explained everything she had heard from the owner of the planet and his elder. After passing the invitation letter to the Moon Goddess, Tan Bingyu waited for her mistress to speak. Her Mistress’s personality had changed a lot ever since she completed what she called her life trial. She became more withdrawn not because she hates people around her, she seeks a quiet place due to the urgency to get stronger faster and to find her family which she seems to have lost during her trial. She no longer smiles casually and her emotions only come out when she is around the people she treats as her own like family, friends. However, towards strangers she became expressionless.
Yue Xuexia, after checking the invitation and saw that there was nothing wrong, returned it to Tan Bingyu.
"Ask everyone who is interested to come. We will go in three days. If you are bored, feel free to go to the city to get everything we need. I will focus on healing first. Don’t worry too much about me. Feel free to do as you wish," said the Moon Goddess.
Tan Bingyu accepted the invitation back to keep it for her mistress.
"Mistress, what would you like for dinner?" She asked.
Yue Xuexia said, "I will eat in my room for three days. I will stabilize my cultivation for a bit."
"Then I shall be back before dinner," said Tan Bingyu as she excused herself and left the room.
Outside the room, Xue Renxue, Tan Shenyu, Xue Shuyi, Tan Huangyu and Tang Yuyi were all waiting outside the room.
"Daughter, what did the Mistress say? Can we go out to check the market?" Tan Shenyu asked.
Tan Bingyu nods her head as an answer to her father’s question, making the rest of them smile. For those who were born in the Moon Star, this is the first new planet they had visited and was determined to check the area. Now that they had received permission from their Mistress adding the fact that they were given an allowance of a few hundred high grade spirit stones, they were eager to check the market.
Tan Huangyu said, "That’s good. The defensive formation around the manor is done. We can activate it before leaving."
"We should go and return before the sunsets," Tang Yuyi said.
In reality, she wanted to use this chance to check the situation in the Hidden Tang Sect. Her younger sister chose to remain in the Moon Star with her disciples. The Moon Goddess can only give her a puppet vessel as everything needed for her body to be remade hasn’t been fully gathered yet. The Ancient Poison Goddess didn’t want to burden her elder sister and leave the Moon Star with her. So only Tang Yuyi had joined her family to return to the Immortal World with the Moon Goddess.
With the permission of the Moon Goddess, the Tan Family went together to the city. They didn’t go by foot and just flew through the forest. After they left they didn’t notice Yue Xuexia and Elf King Andromeda appeared on the top of the manor watching their figure get farther.
Elf King Andromeda said to his great granddaughter, "Xue’er, no interest in visiting the city? Even for you this is a new place. For me, it’s the first time I’ve seen such a small star."
"Do it next time."
Yue Xuexia moves her gaze from the direction where her subordinates had gone and looks behind her, deeper into the forest as she can feel some disturbance coming from this direction.
"There is an unavoidable situation."
The two of them look at the disturbance from a distance. A bit a distance from them, they saw a young boy being chased by two demonic cultivators.
—
At the forest, Yue Zhiya who just escaped from the cave where he was imprisoned with the other children. Zhiya didn’t let the other children stay in that cave and hid them in his inner world. Despite being young, he is already a Peak Huashen realm and said to be the most talented young generation in the Moon Clan. However, because his talents lean more in the lightning element, he can’t become the next crown prince of the Everlasting Moon Empire.
However, he didn’t care. The throne was boring his eyes anyway. He is adventurous in nature. He escaped from his home to go around the world. Who would have thought that the people of the Death Valley would grab him as soon as they realized that he is someone from the Moon Clan.
When he heard that he was captured because someone from the Fairy race hated their clan. Well this is because his mysterious eldest aunt had cursed the whole fairy race because the Fairy Queen had targeted the members of the Moon Clan. His father and uncle told him before that the reason the fairy race and their clan never got along was because among the targeted members of the Moon clan that time was his uncle, Yue Wuya.
He heard that his eldest god was so angry and killed everyone from the fairy race in the ancient ruins and even destroyed the dimension. All of this was to protect his uncle and her other friends. The Blood Moon Curse on the fairy race had started since then. Since that day, the relationship between the fairy race and the moon clan had become one of enemies. This is not the first time the Fairy race had made a move on their race. Yue Zhiya was just unlucky to be recognized because he forgot to use something to change the silver hue of hair.
Silver hair and silver eyes are well known features of the Moon clan and only the royal blood can have these features. They can control the Moon Domain and use moon energy as an extra source of power aside from the original qi. They also received the blessing of the moon, so during the night especially when the moon is out, they received a buff that increased their qi, strength and agility, making them almost undefeatable. As for those from the branch family of the Yue Clan, they were born with moon insignia on their body. They also received the blessing of the moon but they couldn’t use the moon domain. So it is easy to distinguish the members of the Moon Clan among the rest.
Yue Zhiya was a bit unlucky. His plan was to escape at night. However this failed as he noticed that the other children were being moved to another place. As a royal blood of the Moon Clan and a prince at that he couldn’t accept such evil means. He broke through his chains and saved the children. He knocked out the guards outside the cave. Just as he was about to leave two demonic cultivators had come to check on the goods and saw him.
Now he is being chased by these evil cultivators trying to capture him once again.
Yue Zhiya’s thoughts, ’Tsk! How unlucky!? How can these bastards return so soon!?’
"Dammit! Freaking brat! Making it hard for us!"
"If that goddess learned about this we would all be dead!"
Yue Zhiya heard that amidst their curses he heard something, ’Goddess? Whoever this goddess seems so afraid of? I should find this goddess?’
However, he isn’t fully healed and without the moon’s blessing it would be almost impossible to defeat this minion of Death Valley. While running he saw a manor not far from the part of the forest he is in. He decided to hide there. So he did everything to lose the two cultivators that were chasing after him. With the last of his qi, he called upon a divine lightning and struck the two behind him.
"Divine Lightning, fall!" Yue Zhiya shouted.
"Are you fucking for real!!?"
"Dodge!!"
The two demonic cultivators were terrified as they noticed the small cluster of dark sky that appeared above their heads. They instinctively looked up and saw that fearful purple lightning targeting them. They immediately dodge the lightning falling on them and even the young boy they are chasing. Once the lightning had struck the ground, a crater was left behind.
"What the hell? Didn’t someone seal that brat’s qi!?"
"Seal what? It’s just a boy, who would think of doing that?"
"That’s a prince with the blood of the moon and lightning! It’s not an ordinary child. It’s a damn monster. Didn’t you see him summon a divine lightning! If that thing struck us, not even ashes will be left behind!"
"Bro, the child is gone! What should we do?!"
"Gone, your ass! Look for him!!"
—
On the other hand, Yue Zhiya who had escaped approached the manor which doesn’t seem to have anyone. He was so nervous that he didn’t even notice that the defensive formation around the house before was now shut and this includes the lights inside. As for the Moon Goddess and the Elf King they immediately disappeared from the roof and it was unknown where these two had gone.
The young man wearing ragged clothing and a broken chain on his legs and wrist looked around and found a slightly opened window. He felt that he was lucky and sneaked inside the house without him knowing that his every move was being watched by someone.
