Signing-In: The Lazy Moon Goddess

Seeing the strange list of gifts from her sign in, the Moon Goddess felt that signing in places like the Blood Sea wouldn’t allow her to get some decent rewards. As if sensing the thoughts of the Moon Goddess, the system speaks up for its rewards.

The Moon Goddess annoyed by this suggestion had frowned. She had no hobby of gathering trash, but like the system had said, wouldn’t it be better to just toss it in the system storage? If she needs it in the future she can just bring it out. There is no loss to her side.

Such a phenomenon that should have shocked everyone in the area including the Blood Demons didn’t seem to have felt or seen anything. However those who were near the Moon Goddess who had caused the situation had felt it so cleanly.

The Immortal Sun Emperor was only stunned for a moment and accepted the power of Tribulation Lightning in his body. This power only entered his body but didn’t conflict with the power of the sun inside of him. Instead it found a comfortable place inside him and fell asleep leaving his own power speechless. What made it surprising is that his power was not even rejecting it, instead it wanted to approach instead.

Yue Xuexia after stepping away said to the Immortal Sun Emperor, "Though this will protect you from being killed by the Tribulation Lightning, it wouldn’t completely block the trials for you. It will only protect your life if it’s in danger aside from that everything else is for you to manage. If I interfere completely you will not get the heavenly reward rightfully for you."

The Immortal Sun Emperor smiled and held the Moon Goddess’s hands, "Don’t worry. I will be okay."

"Alright, get ready now," said Yue Xuexia.

She then looked at the elders and siblings of her family and finally lowered her head slightly with her hands clasped before her, saying, "Uncle, Uncle Suyu, Aunt Meiyu, Dage, Erge, please help me protect Jueyang from outsiders who might attack him during the tribulation."

No one had expected this to happen and they were stunned when they saw Yue Xuexia do this. The Moon Goddess has never been the type to ask for help, however this time for the sake of the Immortal Sun Emperor’s safety, she willingly lowered her head. Her elders felt mixed feelings with this scene, especially the two moon princes and the Immortal Thunder Emperor. The scene made it a bit similar to how the former Yue Xuehua in her previous life begged the whole family and forced them to marry her to the Immortal Sun Emperor.

The Immortal Thunder Emperor, Lei Yuye said, "Alright. We will definitely help you. There is no need to ask like this."

She answers honestly, "Without him, Dage wouldn’t be seeing me here before your eyes?"

Other might not understand what the Moon Goddess’s words meant but for the Yue family who knew almost everything that had happened in the mortal star where their sister, Yue Xuexia, had lived with avatars of his parents and grandparents, he knew that they had lived a normal life until that one day, this sister of her had changed. According to their father, Yue Yuya, it seems that it was Shen Jueyang who stood beside his sister their lowest and was also the person who had pulled her back to the world of cultivation. This simply is her repayment and had nothing to do with love.

The hatred of Yue Xuehua towards the Immortal Sun Emperor was born due to his neglect, his indifference and his misunderstandings towards her. It wasn’t something that can not be easily erased just because one was reborn. Yue Xuexia knew about this which is why she had only informed her about Shen Jueyang’s plan to break through to the Great Emperor realm and not to ask her to help protect the person. A smile appeared on Yue Xuehua’s lips, it was light but it was definitely a smile, "Thank you, Xue-jie."

The umbrella artifact Yue Xuexia had given to Yue Xuehua was white with a gold lotus pattern. The moment it appeared everyone recognized it as a semi-divine grade defensive artifact. Yue Xuehua fell in love with it the moment it appeared.

She gave everyone five pieces of Celestial Healing Pill, a divine-grade pill that can instantly restore one’s health to its uninjuried state. She had given ten to Shen Jueyang.

The Immortal Sun Emperor said to her, "Wait for me," before flying towards the open sky above the blood sea.

The moment Shen Jueyang had floated in air, the sky above his head instantly transformed from a clear crimson sky to a black covered clouded sky with thunder and lightning forming a heavenly palace above it. An unknown man’s face with crimson eyes yet face covered with clouds appeared from the sky, shocking everyone in the area, had suddenly peered down to meet the Immortal Sun Emperor’s eyes.

Shen Taiyang was flabbergasted as he looked in the sky as well. "What the hell is this?!"

In Yue Xuexia’s mind, her system was the one who answered the random questioning of the Second Moon Prince. He who had connections to this world’s Heavenly Laws, knows more about the truth beyond this world.
