Chapter 1029: Blood Sea
After breakfast everyone who was at least quasi-emperor realm and above had all left together. They couldn’t leave through the gates of the Black Cloud Academy or it would cause commotion seeing each and one’s identity. So they had to leave the area through teleportation with the Moon Goddess. Everyone’s preparation had been done ahead of time. Now that they had left the Black Cloud Academy, through teleportation. They had instantly reached the location of the Blood Sea.
The Blood Sea is as its name suggests. It’s a wide sea which is crimson in color. However, this is only in color and didn’t mean that the red sea was actually real blood. It’s just for some reason the sea in this area had the same shade of blood itself. Even the sky of this area had the shade of crimson, making the whole area with the shade of crimson fitting the name of the Blood Sea.
The first time Yue Xuexia had come to this place was when she and Shen Jueyang had left to investigate the three halflings of the Blood Demon race, the Hong Brothers. They had indeed met with these three brothers and successfully gauged their personalities and identities. Luckily, the three men passed the test of Yue Xuexia as people who can be trusted. However, if they didn’t pass that day, under the request of the Moon Goddess, they might have been wiped up by the Immortal Sun Emperor who had almost been by her side.
Upon their arrival to the area, the eldest among the three brothers, Hong Yi, was actually at the shore waiting for them. Yue Xuexia and Shen Jueyang were the ones leading their group. By the time Hong Yi had spotted them, he immediately clasped his hands into a greeting.
The Second Moon Prince, Yue Wuya, reacted in the normal way others would have upon seeing someone like Hong Yi.
He gripped on his spear and was ready to fight anytime, "A Blood Demon?!"
"Wuya, calm down." The Crown Prince, Yue Leiya, holds on to his second brother’s shoulder before he can attack Hong Yi.
Confused. "Brother, why are you stopping me?" The second moon prince, Yue Wuya asked.
Before their eyes, Hong Yi had greeted the Immortal Sun Emperor and the Moon Goddess falling into one knee before their presence with his hands clasped together in greeting.
"Subordinate, Hong Yi, greets the Holy Saintess and the Holy Saint!"
The Immortal Sun Emperor controlled his qi to lift the man up from his kneeling position.
He then asked, "Stand up."
"Hong Yi, why are you still here?" Principal Wu Zhou asked in confusion. "Didn’t I inform you about what is about to happen today yesterday?"
Hong Yi looked at Wu Zhou who had the best relationship with the Hong Brother from the Black Cloud Academy.
He said, "I’ve stayed only for a while to assist the exalted lords into choosing a place to break through. I know the right location."
"My plan was to break through above the blood sea. So I truly don’t care about the location," The Immortal Sun Emperor said.
Hong Yi said, "But if the location you had chosen happens to be the territory of a Blood Demon King then you might get surrounded or affected by them during your breakthrough which is dangerous."
"The plan was to pull out a few of these Blood Demon Kings. It would be better if most of them died so the one who holds contract with Martial Uncle Zhou’s name with it would disappear with them," said the Moon Goddess.
Hong Yi thought for a moment and believed that this plan might be useful. Causing destruction during tribulation was something hard to control, so most of the area within the range of the divine punishment was destroyed.
The Immortal Sun Emperor said, "Just show us the location where those Blood Demon Kings live. I will visit them all during my tribulation."
"Better see all their territories so I can create some teleportation portals for you to wander around," said the Goddess of the Moon.
Prince Suyu, completely stunned, asked, "Is that possible?"
"Can you create teleportation portals now, Xue’er?" The Immortal Thunder Emperor asked.
The Goddess of the Moon nodded her head and said, "World Teleportation Portal is still not possible. But teleportation within the whole Immortal Word, I can do it as long as I have seen the location to teleport into."
"So you can teleport to any place you have gone through before?" Princess Meiyu asked.
Yue Xuexia said, "Answering to Aunt Meiyu, it’s also possible if someone who had gone there had shared his memories with me."
Everyone already knew that the Moon Goddess is capable of spatial techniques and teleportation was only one of them. But they had never known that her proficiency with controlling the space was this high, after all, such a rare element was something so hard to control plus you need to have affinity with it or getting lost in space is not a good thing.
The Immortal Thunder Emperor said, "This is real. I was the one who had shared my memories about almost every place in the Immortal World with my niece."
"Then I will point out the locations where the Blood Demon Kings all live," said Hong Yi as he brought out a map that showed only the Blood Sea and pointed to them.
Yue Xuexia remembered them all and flew in the sky alone with everyone watching her.
Principal Wu Zhou asked, "What does she plan to do?"
"Didn’t Xue’er mention it before? She plans to make a teleportation portal to each of those locations," Principal Wu Yao answered.
Assassin King Hei Yu said, "Is that even possible?"
"Watch and you will know the answer to that question," The Immortal Thunder Emperor said.
The Moon Goddess flew to the sky and made some gestures with her hand. The energy of space had started to gather under her control then she pulled some space crystals from her stash and let it float around her. After a while she started writing something with ancient runes. These runes were impossible to read on its own, only when it formed into a structure that others who knew formations would be able to understand a gist of it. She had clapped her hands to pour energy into the space crystals and embed it to each set of rules and then it flew to the directions where the Blood Demon Kings lived. There are eight Demon Blood Lords and four Demon Blood Kings.
The space crystals spin a number of times and the runes inside of it start to spread creating a spell circle that looks like a space portal. Everyone was amazed by this scene. Yue Xuexia observed the space portals she created and only nodded to herself when she saw that it was stable. Just in case, she also places some Lightning ores above it to prevent Tribulation Lightning from destroying it.
Yue Xuexia said, "This much should be enough." She was about to descend when suddenly the system had spoken to her inside her head.
[Ding! The host had found four special locations. The Palaces of the following Blood Demon Kings: The Blood Demon of Lust, the Blood Demon of Torture, the Blood Demon of Murder and the Blood Demon Gluttony.]
[Ding! You have arrived at the Blood Sea, would you like to sign-in in this location?]
The Moon Goddess didn’t expect such a thing. How can this sea of blood be divided into all those locations? Moreover the ones that landed in each place are simply the space crystals she had thrown towards the place where she had anchored the space portals she had prepared for the Immortal Sun Emperor.
Yue Xuexia whispers, "Sign in to all five locations."

[Immortal Thorn Whip, a special whip that hits the soul regardless of realm. It caused immense pain for the physical body and soul yet it didn’t harm both in reality. Specially used for torture.]

[Ding! The host had successfully signed in to the Palace of the Blood Demon of Gluttony and received Taotie’s Inheritance.]
Seeing the rewards from the system, the Moon Goddess couldn’t help but frown for a bit. She couldn’t help but feel that this reward feels a bit sinister.
She asked, "Qiuqiu, why are the rewards like this...? Blood Crystal Mine, Dual cultivation technique, a whip, slaughter aura and taotie’s inheritance. It all feels a bit... bad sounding."
