Signing-In: The Lazy Moon Goddess

After the rebate voucher was used, Yue Xuexia immediately split the Moon Essence Dew to the number of the family members of the Ancient Yue Clan including herself. In the Yue family, there are nine of them who can use the Moon Essence Dew for cultivation. The first one in the list is definitely the Ancient Moon Deity of the Yue Clan, Yue Zhiyan. It can be said that as the Tribulation Deity who can control the Moon itself this dew isn’t that much useful to him, after all, what he needs is a lot more than that. However, this can be used to reward their people. The people who live in the Everlasting Moon Empire might not have pure bloodline like the Yue Clan but they also control Moon Elements into their bodies. So this Moon Essence Dew is extremely useful to them.

However for the Everlasting Moon Empress, the two Moon Princes, three Moon Princesses and the youngest prince, Yue Zhiya this Moon Essence Dew can greatly increase their strength. It can replace moonlight in the morning when the moon is not out. Since it’s useful to the family, the Moon Goddess prepared it as one of the gifts for the Yue Clan.

With a wave of the Moon Goddess’s hand two big gift boxes appeared in her room. One with the crescent moon crest and the other with the lightning insignia. It’s obvious to whom the box is going. Yue Xuexia started pulling things in her system space and was surprised by a few things she didn’t remember getting and recalled that one week salted fish like hers where she left the signing to Qiuqiu to handle. All rewards were placed in the system space without even her knowing what it was. Well that one week lazy Moon Goddess actually didn’t sleep through for the whole seven days. Well it can be said that more than half of the seven days are for sleeping if one calculates the hours Yue Xuexia takes for naps. The rest of the hours were split for eating, reading, teaching her disciple and pill refining.

Most of the pills she had made were Longevity Pills. A few days ago, she had received a call from her grandfather asking her if she was able to supply the Yue and Lei Clans with Longevity Pills and the materials to make it would be sent to the academy for their own use. The Moon Goddess didn’t ask where the clans planned to use the pill and instead she just agreed in exchange of giving her a few more rare pill materials as her payment for the work. The two families didn’t decline her request and even asked her for a list of what she wanted.

The next day, even before the pills were made, gifts from the two clans were sent to the Black Cloud Academy to her Yueguang Peak. Upon seeing the gifts and the materials inside, the salted fish had no other choice but to flip herself and started working again. Now she had countless stocks for her pill reserves. She planned to send it to them as well.

Yue Xuexia has been working on the gifts she plans to send to the family. The pills, talismans and artifacts she had made had been properly split among the two clans. She gave them equal numbers to avoid fighting. There are also elemental related gifts which fits each clan the most, she just fills whatever filled the boxes until she can hardly close it anymore. There are also ordinary boxes for the pills her clans had requested which weren’t added to her personal gifts.

By that time, Shen Jueyang came to see her. He saw her putting her weight on the boxes trying to close it with a black and white fat fish on her head.

The Immortal Sun Emperor asked, "What are you two doing?"

The Moon Goddess answers, "Packing gifts."

[Packing gifts,] The system replied.

The Immortal Sun Emperor looked at their sweat covered faces and then at the two boxes that were about to burst with so many gifts inside. Shen Jueyang waves his hand and two boxes bigger than the ones in front of them appear.

He said, "How about switching to a bigger box?"

In the end, the Moon Goddess agreed to switch to a bigger gift box and once again pile up everything inside. There is still an extra space within the box and Yue Xuexia wanted to fill it more but was stopped by the Immortal Sun Emperor.

Shen Jueyang said, "Enough with the gifts. Put more and it won’t close again like before."

Seeing that the Immortal Sun Emperor had no intention of letting her a few more gifts, the Moon Goddess can only securely close the two boxes and seal properly. Even adding a formation that allowed it to pass through time and space without being destroyed. Then Yue Xuexia summoned a group of puppets to handle the gifts.

She instructed them, "After tearing the talisman you appear in the garden of the second moon princess, Yue Xuehua. Though I had informed her already, I still passed these letters to her. She will handle the rest. Once you get there, listen to her instructions."

"Yes, Master!" The puppets said as they tore the Teleportation Talisman Yue Xuexia had given them whose coordinates were fixed in a certain location which is Yue Xuehua’s garden.

After the group of puppets who brought the gift and letter over to the Ancient Moon Clan and Regal Lightning Clan had left, the ones who were left alone were only the Immortal Sun Emperor and the Moon Goddess. The silence between the two was deafening until the Immortal Sun Emperor reached out to hold her hand and look at her.

"Xue’er, there is something I want to ask you about," said the Immortal Sun Emperor.

The Goddess of the Moon turns her head and looks back at him yet not holding back at his hand. But she hesitated just now and Shen Jueyang noticed it, he knew that it would be almost impossible to force her to make a choice right now. To ask her to choose him at this moment, she would definitely not reject it. As for whether she truly has him in her heart is unknown. The seal in her heart is still there. So tightly wrapped around her heart. According to the system this is something he had placed in her heart as she had wished. But he, the formerly Heavenly Laws of the Exiled Star, can no longer remove it from her.

The more her feelings blossom the more her heart suffers. Yue Xuexia might not complain about the pain but to say that she cannot pain is impossible. Though she can bear the pain, and choose to ignore it, it was uncomfortable for her but even she cannot resolve it herself. However, she knew something else. The Moon Goddess said, "Please speak."

Shen Jueyang only needed to stare at the depth of that pair of silver eyes. It was so calm, very composed and lukewarm, like still water, not even a ripple can be found. It feels cold and desolated. The Immortal Sun Emperor’s heart trembles under this pair of eyes, but he still smiled.

"Xue’er, I know what your situation is and at this moment, we still haven’t found something to resolve the oath you have made but I am willing to stay by your side. Whether you can love me or not, as long as you are willing to let me be in your life, I am willing to give you this life of mine."

He stood up while still holding her hands. This arrogant and proud emperor, the youngest and strongest emperor of his time, was willing to kneel before her just as a man and looked up to her with sincere eyes and finally said these words.

"Xue’er, in my past life I was not a good man. I will not pretend to be a gentleman. However, with you in my life, I will only treat you as the most important existence in this lifetime."

"Xue’er, you don’t need to love me the same way I do so. Just let me into your life and that is all I wanted in this life."

Yue Xuexia stared at the handsome man begging for her love. Her calm heart beats faster. As if ripples appeared in her still heart. This disturbance caused ripples yet it didn’t last for too long until the ripples once again turned still water once again. The change is as usual, instantly appearing then then constantly disappearing, as if this heart was no longer hers to control.

However, even though there isn’t love within those silver eyes, the gentleness and understanding can be seen.

"Okay. You can stay as you wish. As long as you don’t do anything I don’t like, I am willing to indulge you," said the Moon Goddess.
