Chapter 816 - 380: Void Compass (Part 3)
Temporarily putting away the vast projection, Leon observed the corpse in front of him, found nothing else of value, and then stepped back, calling the knights to evacuate the Starship.
Having already taken the relics of this Ancient Mage, fiddling with them in front of the corpse felt somewhat unsettling.
The group retraced their path out of the Starship wreckage. Holding the heavy golden ball, Leon jumped back to the ground, discovering that the other two teams searching elsewhere had also returned to where Sasha and the others were resting.
To his surprise, Olivia’s team didn’t return empty-handed either. In front of them was a pile of bizarre items, some identifiable as weapons, others unrecognizable, clearly all retrieved from the Starship.
Well.....seeing this, they truly seemed like adventurers looting the burial site of Suviel.
"What are these?" Leon walked closer and asked.
Olivia, carrying a great sword, avoided his gaze and said somewhat sheepishly, "We didn’t find anything like a compass, but we did find quite a few weapons in the ship that we thought might be useful. The Dawn Sect’s soldiers are left with only daggers after running out of bullets, so I brought them all over for them to use...Of course, if it’s too cumbersome to carry, forget it."
After hearing this, Leon glanced at the various exotic weapons piled at her feet and chuckled to himself, knowing that it was the girl’s sword-loving tendency acting up again.
This young lady doesn’t have many hobbies, except for collecting dozens of different styles and types of blades in Avalon’s armory.
However, Olivia’s consideration was not wrong. The Kleinian soldiers, out of bullets and relying solely on tactical daggers, would be at a dangerous disadvantage against demons, especially since their bulletproof armor wasn’t suitable for high-intensity close combat, and their limb protection was far inferior to the fully armored Felu Knights.
