Chapter 57 Learning about her enemy
Silence stretched in the air, before Lydia inhaled sharply. Caroline had a look of fear and concern on her face, as she sat opposite me.
"Alpha Allison is the daughter of Alpha Derek Greyson of the Crescent Moon pack. Their pack has a good relationship with the Bloodshade pack, so that’s why she could enter our land anytime she wants," Lydia said.
I listened tentatively.
"There has been a rumour of her becoming the Luna of the Bloodshade pack... because of how close she is to him. But when it comes to her personality, she is very strong and well adept in battle. She had been training relentlessly since she set her eyes on Alpha Damon."
"Okay, I see, so she is basically the perfect one to be his Luna. Why is she being called Alpha if she has a father?" I leaned closer, my brows furrowed.
"Because her father is dead, and she is the only child he had before his mate died. And since her death, he had refused to marry again or give birth to another child," Caroline said.
"So is it okay for a woman to become an Alpha?"
"No, it is not. Actually, this is the first time a woman has become one, ruling the pack," Lydia’s voice lowered, as she leaned her head closer to me. "But it resulted in bloodshed."
"Bloodshed?"
