Chapter 11 A Cocky Alpha
"You like what you see?" His mocking voice broke my trance-like state, then he moved, walking closer to me.
I quickly averted my gaze, my mind a complete mess. I had no idea why my eyes had fixated on it, but I could already feel the shivers that were coming from him.
Silence stretched through the air like a thin layer of ice. ’Why wasn’t he saying anything?’ I thought inwardly, as I could feel his burning gaze on me. The tension was so suffocating, as if he was waiting to watch me break.
I wondered what he was going to do to me. Is he going to punish me for trying to run away? Or is he so mad that he couldn’t speak? I nervously fidgeted with my hand as I slowly rose to my feet.
When I raised my head to look at him. I saw his jaw clenching, his hands balling into fists. It was as if he was trying to rein in his anger. But he was doing a bad job at it because I could see anger contorting his face.
I blinked in nervousness as fear gripped my heart. I nervously chewed on my lower lip. I didn’t know what to say to get myself out of his radar.
In a matter of split seconds, I felt his callous hand on my jaw, his warmth radiating through my skin. My breath stuttered, my mind whirlwinding into a mess. His body was so close that I could feel his hard, chiseled chest on my breast.
The close proximity sent an electric jolt through my spine, but my eyes couldn’t look away from those dark brown eyes that looked more like black.
His thumb brushed against my lips, before removing it from my teeth with his thumb. His touch was faintly foreign, but it didn’t fail to send a tingling sensation through my body.
