In a world divided between humans, demihumans, and monsters, a catastrophic event known as the monster wave threatens to destroy humanity every ten years.
    In the midst of a bloody battle, a young boy named Kaiyan faces a small goblin with a shoddy spear. When the goblin injures Kaiyan, he awakens as a “Player.”
    Read as Kaiyan tries to understand his new ability and strive to take revenge on the monsters that destroyed his home and threatened humanity.
