Chapter 591: To The Pirate Hoard?
It seems like an entire battalion’s worth of pirates had shown up to back us up, hammering the androids from behind and cutting them down with the element of surprise on their side.
Guess we can’t slack off here either!
I resumed my assault on the androids, smashing my fist into another one to send them flying away and crashing into another group of androids.
The androids split up to start attacking the other group of pirates as well but I didn’t have the capacity to pay attention to them right now since the androids in front of me lunged at me.
I backhanded one across the face before kicking another one in the chest.
I swung my arm forward and activated my shotgun, blasting another one in the head and blowing him away.
A blur of movement came from the side and I felt a weight latch onto my arm.
I clenched my fist in my other hand and prepared to punch the android that was holding on my arm away, only to realise another one had grabbed onto my other arm as well.
More of them swarmed up to me and I soon found myself slowly being dragged down by the combined weight of the androids.
Another figure leapt over me and gunshots rang out, causing all the androids holding me down to suddenly jerk their heads back before collapsing onto the ground.
Amber landed on top of another android and used him as a springboard to jump back up into the air, spinning herself gracefully while shooting her dual pistols around her.
Every single one of her shots nailed their targets in the head and I was pretty sure she did something using her powers because that was enough to disable those androids somehow.
