Chapter 429: Upperwood festival
Michael appreciated their concerns. One of them was even willing to sacrifice themselves just so that he could delay his permit test, which was very touching.
"It’s okay. I chose to start my permit test tomorrow," he told them.
They all looked at him as if he was crazy. No one in their right minds would start their permit test during the Upperwood festival.
But it seemed that Michael was set on his ways and there was nothing they could do to convince him otherwise.
"It’s fine," the old balding man said. "He’s just a kid. There’s plenty of chances for him in the future."
The others agreed.
"It might actually be a good experience for him. He can learn from this mistake."
"If that’s the case, then welcome to our little spot here in the Market Plaza. If you have anything you want to ask, then just come right over to our stall and we’ll help you out whenever we can."
"Us small companies should stick together, helping each other out."
Then, they started to introduce themselves to Michael.
The old balding man who owned a bakery was named Otto. Right next to him was Rhena, who was the owner of a small perfume shop outside of Metropolis. The other one was Carter who was a shoemaker whose stall was filled with handmade leather shoes. Last but not least was Pedro, who was a metalworker who specialized in utensils like spoons and forks.
