Chapter 126: Unlikely Alliance
Adam however paid little attention to Void’s compliment. His focus was singular.
His objective was clear. He turned his back on the downed upperclassmen the two boys from the Golden Team who were now lying on the ground.
And he once again faced the crowd of first-year students. His expression was confident and assured. He looked like a leader.
He spread his arms wide.
It was a gesture that was both an invitation and a declaration of his strength. "As you have just seen with your own eyes," he announced.
His voice rang with a newfound authority a power that resonated across the entire courtyard.
It was impossible to ignore him.
"I can protect all of you from any danger. From any threat. If you join my group The New Warriors you will be under my protection. No one will bully you. No one will force you to do anything you do not wish to do."
His words hung in the air. It was a tantalizing offer a tempting promise of security and safety in this clearly hostile environment.
Yet despite the impressive display of power they had just witnessed despite seeing Adam and Void so easily defeat the upperclassmen many of the first-year students still hesitated.
They were still afraid.
