Chapter 125: A Display of Dominance
As the Golden Team student’s magically charged kick shot towards Adam’s head, Adam reacted with a speed that defied belief.
The attack a blur to any normal observer was already upon him.
It was incredibly fast. With incredible swiftness a speed that was almost impossible to see Adam brought his other hand up. It was the one that wasn’t being held by the student.
He moved it to intercept the blow. He caught the student’s heel just inches from his face. He stopped the magically-infused kick dead in its tracks.
The attack was completely neutralized.
The Golden Team student was visibly shocked.
He couldn’t believe what had just happened. He couldn’t believe that this boy this "Eric" had not only anticipated his surprise attack in a fraction of a second.
But he had also managed to block it seemingly without any difficulty at all.
The force behind his magically charged kick was immense. It was one of his strongest moves. Yet this first-year this newcomer had stopped it with just one hand.
It was impossible.
Seeing their two comrades now engaged in a serious fight the other members of the various upperclassmen groups began to surge forward.
