Chapter 25: Punishment (M)
Lethia realized the fox inside her had seized control over her body. Even though she wanted to scream, no sound escaped her lips.
She could only find herself striding naked out of her room like a lifeless doll, moving as if pulled by invisible strings.
’What the hell are you planning to do?’
["Punishment! Ha ha ha... I might need you as my host, but that doesn’t mean you can overpower me. I need to teach you who’s in charge here."]
Panic and frustration clawed at her mind as she lost control again. Yet, she felt everything. Her pounding heart, the rush of blood through her veins, when she pushed open Renar’s unlocked door.
’Oh, for fuck’s sake, why didn’t he lock his damn door?’
["Because he’s waiting for youuu~~"]
The fox’s laughter echoed in her mind, turning her distress into a twisted melody.
The air in Renar’s room was colder than hers, sending shivers across her bare skin.
Every brush of icy air against her exposed flesh made her nerves tingle, heightening her awareness of just how vulnerable she was.
Then, she heard the stream of water from the shower. And she knew.
