Steampunk Era: Mad Abield

All the commanders lowered their heads: "Willing to go with Your Highness!"

"This is a notebook. Each of you write the name of your battle regiment on a page. After the city wall is breached, I will draw one regiment from it." Malin handed the paper and pen to the defense officer Li’s face: "Start writing from you."

On the other side of the city wall, shells had already hit it. The heavy Blooming Bullet was particularly effective against the patchwork style wall of the Chaos.

Malin watched these commanders finish writing, then saw General Sang take the paper and pen and write down the name of a regiment not present on one of the blank pages.

"General Sang, what did you write?" Out of curiosity, Malin asked.

"It’s my grandson’s unit. He’s five minutes away from here. I think he can give it a try too." General Sang looked at Malin as he spoke: "I have seven grandsons, and five have already shed their blood for this land. I think he will be the sixth. This is the Thainan fate, Your Highness Malin. If destiny chooses him, please take him and his soldiers forward, let them face either glory or death."

Malin laughed, took back the notebook, and looked at these commanders who were no longer young: "Did you hear General Sang’s words?"

"Heard it. Although quite unwilling, if the plea comes from General Sang, we will have no problem." Someone answered so.

"Yes, General Sang’s character is impeccable. If Your Highness chooses to bring Sang’s command, I will have no complaints. Young people indeed need experience." The dwarf commander surnamed Lin said to Malin.

Since none of the commanders objected, Malin drew the paper written by General Sang and looked at the general: "I respect your choice, general, but please don’t do it a second time. If there’s a next time, I will unhesitatingly remove your grandson and his regiment from the attack Sequence."
