Chapter 943: Section 619: Transmission_2
Upon reaching the surface, Malin pulled up the soft hood behind the Power Armor. The full-face armor provided adequate vision and, once the mask was worn, it was possible to see without temperature differentials in infrared vision.
"Oslo, the most cherished memory of that gentleman, it’s a pity, just like the memories of humans, it’s been destroyed," Jason lamented behind Malin as they boarded the transport machine.
"Did he like Oslo that much?" Malin asked, sitting down and looking at Jason.
"Yes, it’s said that he met a little beauty there, golden wavy hair, skin white like porcelain, and a smile like a charming angel," Jason said, the red light in his electronic eye turning pink: "Although I’ve only heard it from him, I’ve seen how he looked, and I feel like she must have been the most enchanting woman. Otherwise, the gentleman wouldn’t have been so obsessed with her."
"It’s just unfortunate that all this is gone," Malin sighed.
As the transport machine’s hatch closed, Jason sat next to Malin and fell silent: "You’re not wrong, if that thing was still on my weapon rack below, I wouldn’t have been able to sit down now."
Malin shook his head: "I’ve told you, when luck isn’t on your side, the size of the fellow doesn’t matter."
"You’ve never said that to me before, I swear on my memory bank," Jason retorted.
Malin skillfully chose to change the subject: "Speaking of which, have you really confirmed that location?"
