Leaving the corpse of the Evil God follower for the police squad to guard, Malin reverted back to his adult form, then held the youngster in his arms, handing the new address found in the follower’s mind to Zem who had come upon hearing the news. Malin looked at the middle-aged man with triangular eyes in Zem’s team: "Sir, do you have any questions?"
"Do you intend to purify that child yourself?" asked the middle-aged man while opening his collar, revealing the emblem of the Church of the War God: "Forgive me for not introducing myself; I am a Judge of the Church of the War God. Heroes like you need not know my name."
"No need, Mr. Judge, this child has received the blessings of Mother Earth and has been permitted by the gods to walk upon the land."
"Ah, are you referring to the Goddess of Harvest? However, I think a soul from Subspace does not lie, it’s too dangerous, my lord."
The Judge looked at Malin, his heart stirring with intent. Just as Malin was about to act, a rift opened between the two men.
Ails poked his head out.
·Lord Malin, I was supposed to come find you just now, but as you know, it was quite dangerous here a moment ago.
Ails said this, blocking a bullet with his bone hand, then turned his head to look at the Judge.
·For heaven’s sake, didn’t you notice that none of Malin Lord’s four World Tree Saplings made a move against me?
The Judge silently holstered his Revolver: "Sorry, occupational habit."
"...What is it, Ails?"
