The power button was on the left side of the panel, and pressing it for three seconds would turn it on. Although there were only two battery packs, Malin felt that people from that era had already ventured beyond the atmosphere; it would be inconceivable if the tablet’s battery lasted only 8 hours.
The panel’s language was French, which Malin couldn’t read, but soon after, the camera above the tablet moved slightly, recognized Malin’s appearance, and presented an option to change the language to English and a bunch of other languages Malin didn’t recognize.
There was no Chinese.
Having no other option, Malin chose English, and once in the interface, found and changed the system settings to display Chinese.
Then a line of text appeared in the middle of the screen.
