Malin reached out his hand and gave the Earl a gentle shake, then watched as he snatched back the large bag: "You actually don’t believe in your own father! You bastard!" the old father yelled with all his might.
"Father, I am a special operative."
"To hell with that! I’ve never been as worried about my younger son as I have these past few days! I’m afraid you were dead! Dead and beyond my help, do you understand! The power of Mr. Malin... you have no idea the kind of terrifying opponent you’re facing!" The old father said frantically, "I thought you were a goner! Done for! About to be squashed by Mr. Malin’s hammer all over the hallway!"
"Really?" Cohen looked at his father.
"You’d better ask your new friend what he thinks," the father said, out of breath, pointing at Malin.
So Cohen turned to look at Malin.
Malin, smiling, took a solid gold clothes rack from the side, tied it into a knot, and then put it back in its original place.
Cohen looked at Malin: "30?"
"Without blessing, 32 and up." Malin nodded with a smile.
Cohen rolled his eyes: "If I’d known you were like this, Malin, I wouldn’t have taken this job, even if it meant getting my head chopped off by His Majesty."
