Jiang Xue put down the phone, got up, and left the office to have lunch.
In the afternoon at work, the assistant suddenly came over with a faxed document. Jiang Xue took a look and found it was sent to her and was in full English.
She looked down and skimmed it, finding it was an introduction to MD Group. Seeing the document, Jiang Xue somewhat understood what Jin Hao meant by sincerity at noon.
"You can leave now!" Jiang Xue waved to the assistant and looked down to carefully read the document again.
She had just finished reading the document when Jin Hao’s call came again. As soon as Jiang Xue picked up, Jin Hao directly asked: "Miss Jiang, have you read the document I just sent?"
"I’ve already read it."
"Do you believe in my sincerity now?"
"I really don’t see your sincerity, but I need to think about it further."
Hearing Jiang Xue say she needed more time to think, Jin Hao’s expression turned somewhat unpleasant. However, he managed to control himself and said, "Alright, please consider it as soon as possible, Miss Jiang. After all, some opportunities don’t last forever."

After speaking, Jiang Xue directly hung up the phone. On the other end, Jin Hao listened to the dial tone, his expression very unsightly.

Jiang Xue didn’t care whether Jin Hao was angry or not. After hanging up the phone, she reviewed the company documents Jin Hao sent once more, then instructed the assistant before heading out with the documents.

Upon hearing Mr. Lan wasn’t in, Jiang Xue prepared to leave, but unexpectedly, Bai Lan, who previously tried to recruit Jiang Xue into the Ministry, approached.
"Jiang Xue, it really is you." Seeing Jiang Xue, Bai Lan was very pleased. Although Jiang Xue had refused her last time, Bai Lan wasn’t angry. Instead, she thought even more of recruiting her into the Ministry, her intention becoming more firm and urgent.
However, because she’d been quite busy lately and Jiang Xue was not in South City, the matter had been postponed. Today, upon hearing Jiang Xue was here, she couldn’t miss the opportunity, so she hurried over, leaving her work behind.
"Mr. Bai!" Jiang Xue greeted Bai Lan with a smile and then said, "If there’s nothing else, I’ll be going first."
"Jiang Xue, why in such a hurry? Don’t rush off, let’s chat." Bai Lan, seeing Jiang Xue about to leave, became anxious and reached out to grab her sleeve.
"Mr. Bai, I have things to attend to. If you have something to say, please be straightforward." Jiang Xue glanced at her sleeve which was being held, and thought to herself: Didn’t check my horoscope before leaving today, bumped into a persistent one.
She could naturally see that Bai Lan sincerely wanted her to join the Ministry of State Security. But she wasn’t aiming for that. Even though she planned to go undercover this time, if it wasn’t about her own life and interests, she wouldn’t meddle.
After all, she’s just a regular woman who only wants to take care of her own little family, without any grand ambitions.
