Chapter 1378: Going to See Qian Cheng
For Jiang Xue’s departure, both Shangguan Wenbin and Wang Jun were a bit perplexed. The company is at its busiest right now; how can the owner, Jiang Xue, leave her post?
So, Shangguan Wenbin said to Jiang Xue, "Sis, I’m thinking of splitting myself into multiple parts, and here you are wanting to take a leave."

"I understand what you mean, but the company can manage a few days without me. If it gets too busy, I’ll find some people to help out. I’m not confident about hiring people externally, so I’ll get Mu Qiancheng to help me find a few people."

So, after bustling two days to finalize work matters, Jiang Xue booked a flight to Beijing. Initially, she intended to bring Little Reunion along, but Father Jiang and the others disagreed. In the end, Jiang Xue had to fly to Beijing by herself to see Mu Qiancheng.
When Jiang Xue arrived, it was afternoon, and Mu Qiancheng was busy with training and couldn’t pick her up. As a result, the task of picking her up fell to Lu Jintian.
Seeing her brother, now fully recovered, Jiang Xue was delighted. Previously, Lu Jintian had been in a car accident, and it was fortunate Jiang Xue was around, otherwise, he wouldn’t have recovered so quickly.
"Brother, are you not working today?" Jiang Xue thought he’d send a driver to pick her up when she called him, but she didn’t expect him to come personally.
"Work is not as important as you." Lu Jintian replied and then asked, "Do you want to eat first, or head home first?"
"Let’s eat first!" Jiang Xue was a bit hungry, so she chose to have a meal before heading home. Even if she went home now, no one was there.
Of course, she could have gone to Lu Jintian’s house, but she felt her own place was more convenient. Besides, Mu Qiancheng would be back at night, going back to her own home was better in many ways.
Lu Jintian had originally wanted Jiang Xue to go home with him, but she refused, and he didn’t push it. So, after the meal, Lu Jintian took Jiang Xue back to her and Mu Qiancheng’s place.
Since Mu Qiancheng knew Jiang Xue was coming, he had someone clean up the place, making it look very tidy. The fridge was stocked with some rice, flour, and vegetables, so Jiang Xue could cook if she wanted to.
Back home, Jiang Xue tidied her luggage, grabbed a set of clothes, and went for a shower. Washing away the travel dust, she felt much more comfortable. So, she sat on the sofa, looking at her phone while waiting for Mu Qiancheng to return.
Fortunately, she didn’t have to wait long before Mu Qiancheng came back.
Mu Qiancheng pushed the door open and, seeing Jiang Xue sitting on the sofa watching TV, he became excited. He strode over, hugged Jiang Xue, who had just stood up, and kissed her fiercely.
One day apart feels like three autumns. By this logic, who knows how many "autumns" they have been apart.
Jiang Xue was swept up in Mu Qiancheng’s passion, she gently closed her eyes, responding to his kiss.
Feeling Jiang Xue’s response, Mu Qiancheng hugged her even tighter, his kisses becoming more intense. Unknowingly, the couple fell onto the sofa together.
After a long kiss, Mu Qiancheng gently released her, murmuring with deep affection, "Xue’er, I’ve missed you to death!"
Such straightforward words made Jiang Xue’s face turn even redder, like a ripe red apple. Seeing Jiang Xue so charming, Mu Qiancheng’s eyes deepened as he once again locked onto her lips and kissed her.
