Chapter 987: An Ru Arrives
Because there was a lot of meat to grill, Jiang Xue didn’t have time to think about anything else. Her hands kept flipping, and plates of grilled meat were produced, exuding a rich aroma.
Jiang Xue had just placed the grilled meat on a table nearby when, in no time, the Little Fox and the Big Tiger simultaneously appeared at the kitchen door.
Jiang Xue looked over and handed each of them a plate, then continued grilling another batch. A hundred pounds of meat took Jiang Xue three whole hours to finish grilling.
When she finally came out of the kitchen, her body was covered in the smell of meat. Jiang Xue sniffed and showed a face of distaste, then went to take a shower and changed her clothes before heading out with Little Reunion.
Outside, it happened to be dinner time. Jiang Xue carried Little Reunion downstairs to eat. Mrs. Jiang and Father Jiang saw them coming down and smiled, saying, "If you didn’t come down soon, we’d have to go upstairs to get you."
"Overslept," Jiang Xue explained with a smile, then sat down to eat. After eating, Father Jiang and Mrs. Jiang took the child out for a walk in a stroller. Jiang Xue, finding herself with nothing to do, didn’t read but instead went directly into the space to cultivate her spiritual power.
She cultivated like this until Father Jiang and the others returned, then stopped and went downstairs to chat, talk, and watch TV with them.
After watching TV for a while, it was over nine o’clock, and Jiang Xue took the child upstairs to sleep. Father Jiang and Mrs. Jiang also returned to their rooms.

"If he has no ill intentions, just ignore him. But if there’s any danger to me, remember to warn me," Jiang Xue instructed the Little Fox while driving to school.
At school, just as she was about to drive inside, a security guard suddenly approached and said, "Jiang Xue, someone is looking for you at the security room."
Hearing this, Jiang Xue was somewhat surprised. She didn’t have any acquaintances here; who could be looking for her? If it were Wang Jun or Shangguan Wenbin, they’d just go to her house. Why come all the way to the school?
"Did they say their name?" Jiang Xue asked with a smile.
"I don’t know, I didn’t ask her," the security guard shook his head. However, he suddenly thought of something, as the person had written their name on the visitor log, and said, "Seems like their surname is An."
Upon hearing the surname An, Jiang Xue immediately knew who it was. So, she parked her car nearby and then got out.
If An Ru hadn’t come to find her, she would almost have forgotten about this person. One reason is she only met An Ru once, and since the other party is connected to the Jiang Family, even if they hit it off, she wouldn’t actively seek her out.
Moreover, Mu Qiancheng had investigated An Ru earlier; she and Jiang Rui did not live with the Jiang Family but lived outside.
