"Xue’er, it’s like this..." Mu Qiancheng explained Zhuoyue’s situation, and also told Jiang Xue that Zhuoyue was no longer infatuated with Cheng Li and planned to apologize to her.

"Alright, I understand. When does he arrive, should I go pick him up?" Jiang Xue ultimately didn’t say much more. Her company had just started, and it was precisely when she needed staff. If Zhuoyue proved useful, she’d naturally keep him.
But if he had other intentions, or was lazy or shifty, she wouldn’t care about anyone’s feelings and would just send him away.

"Alright, I understand." Since Mu Qiancheng said there was no need to pick him up, she was happy to stay relaxed. Besides, she had classes in the afternoon and didn’t have time to pick him up.
After finishing the conversation about Zhuoyue, the couple chatted for a while until Mu Qiancheng finished cooking noodles and Jiang Xue’s meal was ready in the bowl. Then they hung up the phone and started eating.
