Chapter 580: Someone on the Pillar
The water pillar wasn’t very thick, about a few dozen centimeters wide. From afar, it looked like a soaring water dragon.

Recognizing the people within the pillar, several elders and a young boy, along with Shangguan Wenbin, began to shout. It was great, Mu Qiancheng and Jiang Xue were not dead.
"Boss, could those two be the ones we were sent to rescue earlier?"

"This?" Captain Chen looked troubled. If there weren’t a water monster in the lake, they wouldn’t hesitate at all to go down and save them.
But there was a monster in the water, and they were afraid. If they got eaten by the monster, survival wouldn’t be guaranteed.

They no longer put Captain Chen in a difficult position but turned their gaze once more to the lake. With Jiang Xue and Mu Qiancheng’s fall, the lake surface became unsettled again.
It was only now that everyone realized the lake waves could be controlled, and the hands controlling them belonged to that Water Monster in the lake.
Watching the waves rise again, everyone’s hearts tightened. Even though they had confidence in Mu Qiancheng and Jiang Xue, it was still happening in the water, with a monster present.
And it seemed that they and the monster had become mortal enemies, locked in a fight to the death.
