Chapter 380 - Party Quest
“Did that just happen, man?” Tommy asked. “I mean, I saw it; but, damn.”
Hank laughed. “It's too bad that we're leaving for the quest, or we could have enjoyed them practising.”
“We can still...” Billy started to say.
“No, we bettah leave.” Clint said. “It's ah long ride ta where we gotta go.”
“I'll get the cart.” Tommy said. “You get the horse.”
“We can take Princess.” Ren said.
“Hell, no!” Billy said. “I remember the last time.”
Princess brayed at him, and Hank laughed.
“I think she just called you a p-”
“Shut up!” Billy said, and they all laughed.
“Well, I do have another option.” Ren said. “It's a lot faster than a normal horse and cart, but still nowhere near as fast as Princess.”
“Ahl righ'.” Clint said. “Show us yer option.”
Ren took out his Wand of Transport and cast a Level 5 Phantom Steed.
“Good god.” Tommy said. “Is that...”
“It looks like a Nightmare Horse, but without the flaming mane and hooves.” Dillon said and examined it.

| This large mostly-solid horse-like creature can only be ridden by the person for whom it was created for. It's black head and body and gray mane and tail provide the visage of an imposing figure. It's smoke-colored, insubstantial hooves make no sound, and is already equipped for riding. No further equipment can be added. It cannot fight, but other equal-sized or smaller creatures will actively shun it and refuse to attack it. If it loses all of it's Health, it disappears and leaves no physical remains. Since it is a magically-created mount, it can bear it's rider's weight without penalties. It has certain powers and abilities depending on the caster or wand level. A mount’s abilities include those of mounts from lower caster or wand levels. Level 1: The mount can ride over normal terrain. Level 2: The mount can ride over sandy, muddy, or even swampy ground without difficulty or decrease in speed. Level 3: The mount can use Water Walk at will. Level 4: The mount can use Air Walk and Displacement at will. Level 5: The mount can fly at its speed with average manoeuverability. Health: 1000 (200 per caster or wand level) Movement: 100 feet per second (20 feet per caster or wand level) Time Limit: 5 Hours (1 hour per caster or wand level)
