There was no other person in the hospital that would make the head nurse and other staff be flustered like this.
Mary nodded, ’’He is trying to resort to self-harm now. He said that if you don’t discharge him, he will cut his wrist and bleed to death right here.’’
Diana glanced at Maxim who seemed to be deep in thought.
’’Where is Alex?" Diana asked Mary. If Alex was around, Mary would not have been so anxious.
’’Dr. Qin was especially tired these few days from taking care of the hospital and especially after this patient’s surgery. So, he took a day off today on the note that the Director is coming back. But unfortunately, we haven’t heard from the Director yet.’’
’’Alex isn’t at the hospital, and you are here then who is with the patient?"
Mary’s expression turned a bit awkward at Diana’s question, ’’There were some staff members in the VIP ward and... those men... that group of men who are usually uncooperative is holding the patient down and crying that they don’t want their boss to die...’’
When Mary finished speaking, it was not hard for them to figure the rest of it out. Louis’ subordinates acted wilfully because they were concerned about him but no matter how loyal they were, they would not take his orders to the extent of letting him harm himself.
Maxim nodded at Diana before leaving.
