Chapter 464: Unanswered questions
"You were brought here by a kind heart that couldn’t bear to see you die so meaninglessly. If it was up to me I would have let you die." A grin spread across Azrael’s face.
"Welcome, hell, Prince Cedric Von Drakkar." Cedric was even more puzzled by Azrael’s words..
"Hell?" Cedric repeated. "How can I be alive and still be in hell?" Azrael enjoyed watching how confused Cedric was. His eyes noticed Cedric’s wounds were healing a little bit slowly.
His brow twitched in annoyance. How weak was Cedric? Yes, he expected him to be weak to an extent since Cedric grew up without any guidance and had no idea how to harness his abilities and was completely oblivious about what or who he is.
"You have a lot to learn. That is if they don’t kill out of rage." Azrael sighs, crossing his hand across his chest.
"You’re not giving me straight answers, Azrael. How is it possible I am alive and in hell and who exactly wants me dead?" Cedric asked, his voice was sharp. His control slipping
Azrael chuckled, amused by how Cedric’s darkness flared when he got angry. That dark aura would have shaken a lot of people, except him, who had grown impervious to way darker auras.
Azrael placed his hand on Cedric’s shoulder. "Fine, I will explain what I can."
"First of all this isn’t hell in exact terms. You can glance through the window and see what seems like sunlight. This place isn’t the eternal darkness or the lake of fire hell is imagined as." Azrael started explaining like he was schooling a child
Well, technically, Cedric was like an infant to him. A clueless baby. "Where you are currently in is Netheralis," Cedric’s gaze flickered.
