Chapter 340: A swim
Abrielle glanced back at him and realised Cedric was now completely naked. She quickly looked away.
She could stare at him shirtless but not when that monster was out. "You know I can’t swim."
"I know you have to learn one of these days, and I will never let you drown by my side." He took a few steps toward her, his touch electrifying as he touched her chin and then turned her face towards his.
He slowly leaned in, and her eyes subconsciously closed. Then their lips touched, it was softer than he remembered. A sound akin to a purr left Abrielle’s lips as she instantly melted under his touch.
It was the taste he had been craving for weeks. One already etched in his soul; if possible, he would have devoured her immediately, but he didn’t. His kiss was tender and gentle it spoke of his longing for her, his urges completely suppressed.
Their lips parted, and she drew a long breath into her lungs, a subtle smile on his face as he saw how red her face was. He let go of her chin, his touch still lingering. "Take this as your first swimming lesson." He said; she glanced away, unable to stare back at those gold eyes.
She had a feeling they weren’t going to just swim; her heartbeat got out of control, and even knowing he could read her, he heard her heartbeat only made it beat faster.
She turned around, walking to a corner. The sound of water splashing caught her attention,, but she didn’t turn around. She wasn’t wearing many clothes, so it was easy to undress on her own. Luckily his gaze was not on her. The large coat fell on the ground, the she gently pulled on the dress before completely stripping.
She drew in a deep breath; it wasn’t the first time she was going to appear bare before him, yet there was this anxious feeling in her stomach. She turned around, and her eyes fell on him; how could a man be that gorgeous? His existence was a sin.
