Chapter 56: Special prisoner (2)
I didn’t get in their way as I sat down on the side and picked up a drink for myself.
I wasn’t suited for that kind of work, so there was nothing that I could do to help them anyway.
Instead, I took this time to take a closer look at the women.
Since I had been in a rush to get them back before the rest of the bandits chased us, I didn’t actually get to look at them closely.
There was one thing that all of them shared.
All of them had pretty faces.
Though in terms of their bodies...perhaps they would have looked better if they were filled out, but they were quite skinny. It was clear that the bandits had abused them and starved them during the time that they held them captive.
At the same time, with the fact that they all had pretty faces, it was clear what the bandits were using them for. Some of them most likely wouldn’t have been used for that since they would be sold off as sex slaves, but there were some that had clearly been abused already.
It really was a dog eat dog world out here in the wilderness.
That was the thought that passed through my mind as I gave a sigh and took a chug from my drink.
I was about to lose interest in them when I suddenly noticed something.
