Chapter 25: Undead Society (4)
In the end, they didn’t resist at all as they told me everything that I wanted to know and I learned what this ’society’ was.
The ’society’ that they referred to was actually called the Undead Society.
It had an impressive sounding name, but what it really was was nothing more than a gathering of necromancers.
Necromancy, that was a class of magic that was looked down on by everyone.
Not only was it considered dirty, it was considered immoral.
That wasn’t surprising considering what the nature of necromancy was.
However, it was still a form of magic that existed in this world.
For one reason or another, as long as it existed in this world, there would be people that would learn it.
Those that learned this form of magic would be shunned by the world and would be disadvantaged if they were all alone. That was why those that were shunned by the world for learning necromancy actually grouped together to form this Undead Society.
However, this Undead Society wasn’t that weak either.
After all, they were confident enough to kidnap and kill the would be students of the Magic Tower. That meant that they were confident enough to take care of the magicians that would come to investigate this.
