"Sir Gran, please have a taste."
"Sir Gran, let me fix your shirt. There’s a hole in it."
"Sir Gran, please come and rest by my side. You can rest your head in my lap."
There was a bitter smile that was on my face when I saw how Saintess Amy was treating me.
It had been normal at first, but slowly it was getting worse and worse.
I looked at the maids and guards that followed her for help, but it didn’t seem like any of them were interested in intervening. It even seemed like they were having fun at my expense with the way that they watched all of this with a smile on their faces.
While I wouldn’t have minded if I got closer to Saintess Amy, this definitely wasn’t what I had in mind.
In fact, it was at the point where she was almost acting like a girlfriend...
No, it was at the point where she was acting like a mother...
At the very least, it was a good thing that we were just a day away from Fairview and the hero ceremony.
If it wasn’t for that, then I really might not have been able to hold on.
