Chapter 215: Watching The Stars** (Part Two)
Before Valerius could have gotten the chance of asking what new plan his beautiful wife had come up with, he was surprised by a sweet kiss from his woman.
Her lips were chilled by the cool night air but her mouth was warm and sweet which made him pull her deeper into the kiss as he pushed his fingers into her long curls, catching a hint of her fragrant body soap.
"This was... pretty unexpected..." he said when they finally pulled apart after the intense kiss that lasted for a while. His gaze landed on his wife’s swollen lips and it took every ounce of his willpower not to kiss her again.
Instead of replying to his comment, Annalise licked her lips before she kissed him again. Her arms went to wrap around his neck while she draped one of her legs over his lap to straddle him.
Unlike before, Valerius was prepared this time and as soon as their lips met in another passionate kiss, he wrapped his arms around her, pulling her closer in his embrace.
He allowed her to lead the kiss as she explored his mouth, the familiar taste of his tongue, and nibbled on his lips. The intense kissing went on until she was literally out of breath and had to pull away once again to catch some much-needed breath.
Valerius trailed kisses from her neck to her collarbone and felt her shiver against him as she tilted her head to the back, giving him more room to press kisses. He couldn’t help but smile, pleased at her responses.
He pulled away to look into her eyes with a wide smile on his lips as he admitted - "You never fail to surprise me, love. You keep doing things when I’m least expecting them."
Annalise tilted her head to the side as she asked, "Is that a good or bad thing?" She seemed really curious about his answer.
