Chapter 203: Catching Pixies
"What in the world..." Annalise barely had anything to say about what her eyes were actually looking at. The view in front of her eyes was not what she was actually expecting when she entered into the room.
Her eyes followed her familiar who was jumping after the little pixies that were flying all around the room... No! Not a room... but the huge clearing in the middle of some sort of forest like place.
"How... how come there is a forest inside the room?" She asked no one in particular but her familiar still gave her an answer as it stopped bouncing around for a while and turned to look at her with its usual bored expression on its face which stated just how bored it was because of her naiveness.
"Master, how about you try some way to make your brain work in a better wayyYY!!" The little monster didn’t get the chance to continue as Annalise sent a ball of energy right at him.
"Master!" The little lion was very much unhappy with her stunt but Annalise didn’t care at all. She actually wanted to sent another energy ball aiming at the idiot because of how much it had troubled her throughout the entire past week.
"You should be happy that I haven’t killed you yet. You are the one who needs yo fix both its brain and mouth. And what the heck is going on here... and why are you jumping after these pixies?" She added the question when the little lion resumed jumping after the pixies when one of them tried to fly past them toward the direction from where she just stepped inside... or outside.
"Master, help me stop these pixies from getting out of this magical sphere. Your powers have taken down the spell that had been keeping this place locked, now these little seelies wants to go out. We need to stop them before it’s too..." The snow lion trailed off when it saw Annalise suddenly casting a spell that left all the twenty or something pixies locked inside a magical bubble.
It let out a sigh before taking a seat on top of a little rock nearby as its eyes searched their surrounding. It had been too preoccupied by the pixies from the very moment it entered this magical sphere that it barely got any chance to read the place.
A sharp shriek left its lips when its Master suddenly pulled its ear a little bit harshly before she started speaking, "Now you better start explaining. What is this place?"
The little snow had to use the entire force of its small body to pull itself out of its monster master’s clutches. It made sure to put some much-needed space between itself and its Master before replying to her dumb question, "How am I supposed to know the answer? Didn’t you just saw me entering right before you?" It didn’t even think twice before glaring at its so-called Master.
Annalise glared back at it in return as she spoke, "Then why were you jumping so stupidly to catch these pixies?" She asked next, still not giving up.
"Master, didn’t I just explain? The pixies were trying to get outside of this magical sphere and I was trying to stop them as it wasn’t safe for them to step in the outside world."
