That day, at 8:50 in the morning.
Chen Feng arrived at a small chain supermarket named Yonglefu.
The space wasn't very large, covering less than a hundred square meters.
The shelves were stocked with many snacks, beverages, and daily necessities, besides which there was a sausage grill next to the cashier and rows of cigarettes at the back.
"Can I help you find something?" The cashier, a woman in her thirties wearing a white shirt and black trousers, asked Chen Feng as he approached.
"Hello, I'm looking for Manager Liu."
Chen Feng said, adding his purpose: "I have an appointment with her for a job interview at 9 AM for the cashier position. Is she available?"

To Chen Feng's surprise, the woman in front of him smiled.
