"I thought you would like it since both of you look really close with each other."
"Close?" The corner of Hazel’s lips twitched. "In what eyes do you see me close with him?" In truth, Hazel was so close to killing Logan a few times since that man upset the hell out of her.
"It’s okay; siblings usually don’t show their affection with each other." Ranon retracted his hand from caressing her cheek when Hazel looked like she was going to scratch him. "Moreover, I owe him a drink."
"Just like how you show your affection towards your siblings?" Hazel scoffed.
And Ranon replied shamelessly. "Yes."
With that, Hazel couldn’t say anything; she simply shook her head. Both of them knew that it was a lie, and Hazel wondered what hidden agenda Ranon had.
They didn’t go to the Imperial Restaurant again, but they went to a bar. Ranon had booked a private room here, and Hazel recognized this bar as one of the bars that the Leighton family owned.
