Inside the Pokémon Center, Terrance transferred over Mismagius, Arcanine, and Altaria. A faint smile appeared on his face as all six of his main Pokémon were now gathered together once again.
During this time, Terrance had been moving around the regions of Mt. Chimney, Fallarbor Town, Mauville City, and Lavaridge Town, laying the foundation for the first batch of Bug-Type Pokémon for the Gym and training their abilities.
Each of the little bugs trained with Terrance for about half a month before he entrusted them to Ayan and Scarlet.
These little bugs formed the foundation of the Gym rather than being Terrance’s main force. Their responsibilities were different, so their training intensity and methods naturally differed as well.
If he were to hold them to the same rigorous training standards as Altaria or Gallade, Terrance estimated that they wouldn’t last even a week… no, perhaps not even three days.
Although Altaria and the others had also progressed step by step, Terrance could no longer afford to wait that long. Given his current identity, he had far better options available to him if he chose to use them.
