Reincarnated As A Lion In Another World

Chapter 450: Crushed Flat

A single massive claw pierced through the metal plate of the hatch from the other side.

The arkship’s metal hatch doors were strong, yes, but apparently, not strong enough to stop a giant dragon.

Another claw made its way out, widening the hole. Then another, and another, and another.

The whole limb came out, the light grey scales scraping hard on the jagged metal edges and making the hole wider.

A massive blue eye glanced through the gap, seeing the clouds and Kareem’s surface below.

*GROWL!*

A deep growl that caused the arkship’s body to vibrate escaped from the mouth of the massive dragon.

The gigantic dragon continued clawing at the unresponsive hatch until it was big enough for him to crawl through.

The dragon was truly massive. Possessing various shades of grey scales all over his body.

He was the size of a small mountain, around one thousand five hundred meters tall and three times as long from head to tail.

His body was robust and filled with explosive power. Every movement he made was followed by the trembling of his muscles beneath his grey scales.

He had six horns. Two regular horns, two smaller horns at the sides, and one at the bridge of his nose.

Behind those horns was a marvelously thick neck that was lined at the top with rows of jagged bone spikes.

The bone spikes went down all the way to the tail where they formed a spiked ball at the end.

On his shoulders rested two folded wings that made one imagine how big they would be once spread.

After pulling his large body out of the arkship, the massive dragon sank his claws into the surface of the arkship and gripped hard.

*ROAAAAAAAAAAR!!!!*

The dragon roared, at the planet below, curling his long tail as the warp effect carried the sound waves forward.

"Priya, take care of Olivia," Kael said without looking at them.

His eyes were focused on the two distant arkships hovering in the sky next to the moon.

He stood at the edge of his penthouse window. The glass had been shattered by Olivia’s screams so nothing stood in Kael’s way.

His golden eyes were intensely focused even though he could feel the Conquering Essence being transferred into the bodies of his consorts.

Through the shifting clouds and the setting sun, he could see the massive dragon crawling its way out of the arkship.

He also saw a glimpse of the fortune dragon commander flying toward the moon.

He could see both parties clearly and acknowledged the danger they posed.

As if to confirm his guesses, the crazy roar of a War Dragon slammed down from the sky with tangible force and shook the buildings of the city they were in.

’Tier 6,’ Kael thought to himself.

Between the fortune dragon on the moon and this War dragon right above him, Kael could not immediately tell which was more dangerous.

Any of them could open the heavenly gate if given enough space and time to do so.

He would need to corner them to prevent them from doing that.

There was still that third arkship that Nalii would have to deal with. Kael felt a headache coming.

While he was thinking of what to do, two things were happening.

All his consorts on Planet Kareem all burst out with the power of Conqueror Mode Avatar, reaching the tier beyond their original level.

This was the only way to forcefully remove the anti-power properties that everyone had been hit with.

At the same time, the gigantic dragon above did something horrifying.

He jumped.

And he was coming straight down, no wing flaps, to land close to the city Kael was at.

Seeing the fallen figure, Kael sighed.

From different parts of the world, golden streaks of light rushed toward Kael’s position.

Diane, Chloe, Zabita, and Katari.

Behind him, Eidel, Ruda, and Priya glowed with the power of Conqueror Mode Avatars.

"Eidel and Ruda, join the others and go to the moon. I alone will take care of this one," Kael said, referring to the falling dragon.

"Where is N’bayé?" Priya asked, her eyes which were now a mix of gold and grey rested on Olivia’s unconscious form.

"We’re busy," Kael said.

Eidel and Ruda, directed by Kael, jumped out of the penthouse and sped off in a streak of golden flames and lightning.

The six lionesses met up at the center of the city. Katari had never been too far away from Kael as always and she was already the first to arrive.

The lionesses did not need to say anything to each other. It was just like the time they were ordinary lionesses hunting one big game together.

Katari waved her hand, summoning a series of portals toward the sky. Space warped and twisted around the group as they flew toward the moon.

Kael on the other hand turned off all his powers related to the Law of Conquering.

For the lionesses to have a slim chance of victory, they needed all the support they could get.

As for him...

Kael clenched his fists, feeling the foreign essence changing his body.

He had already set his sights on the falling war dragon and had chosen him as a target.

’Hunter State...’

////

The War Dragon had jumped down from the arkship. His hard scales were coated with flames that appeared due to friction with atmospheric particles.

The dragon narrowed his blue eyes, noticing the golden streaks that appeared and disappeared all of a sudden.

"It IS you!" The War Dragon roared. The air screeched, unable to withstand the descent of such a large and mighty entity.

The whole planet heard the screech as though thousands of celestial clothes were being ripped apart.

Within a few seconds, his mountain-sized body was upon the outskirts of the city.

*WHAAM!*

Right before he landed, the War Dragon spread its wings. The sun and moon dimmed, going pale and almost losing color.

The whole color spectrum in the surrounding vicinity seemed to just...go crazy.

Yes, the War Dragon slowed his descent with his wings, but the aftereffects were unimaginable.

Every single building in the city was crushed flat by the terrifying pressure. Every single one, none was spared.

The city was flattened, concrete merged with asphalt, and glass merged with metal.

Even the forestry and hills beyond the city were blown away or crushed to the ground.

This level of destruction...

This destruction...

Even without intending so, the War Dragon had replicated the effects of humanity’s strongest weapon.

dropping

The winged titan flapped his wings two more times, stabilizing his massive body and causing more unnecessary destruction, before finally to the ground.

His blue gaze scanned the world before him, east to west, all were crushed under his might.

A nasty smirk formed at the edge of his reptilian face, jagged and curved white fangs jutted out of the edges of his scaled lip.

"WHO DARES! WHICH MOTHERFUCKER DARES!" The dragon commander roared to the heavens.

He was referring to the rocket, clearly, someone had targeted them.

His voice shook the world, every word spoken by him caused rocks to crack and the weather to change slightly.

He had not yet taken a step but the ground beneath him kept on increasing its cracks like fragile ice that was struggling to carry his weight.

No one answered him, everywhere was silent. Almost anyone who could have answered him was dead.

Almost...

Then, the dragon commander heard something. It was faint and small.

It was the sound of rocks rubbing against each other.

He turned his colossal head to face the direction the sound was coming from.

Off in the distance, close to the center of the city, pebbles and debris fell off each other as an entity rose out of the devastation.

This was the same spot that Kael’s hotel penthouse had been. Now, there was nothing but pieces of rock and concrete.

As the mound that shook with life grew bigger, the dragon commander was able to make out the image of golden fur rising out of the ground.

And for some reason, this ’thing’ seems to be growing fast, very fast.

"Hmm," The smirk on the face of the dragon commander was gradually fading away as he sensed the rising aura.

He couldn’t understand what he was feeling, it felt like he was under the watch of a hunter.

He felt like a prey.

Of course, this was just a feeling and had little power in deciding the dragon commander’s actions, but he acknowledged it.

A massive golden paw burst out of the ground, blasting rocks into the air. Then another paw, followed by the growing head of a golden lion.

Kael, now more than ten meters tall and still growing, climbed out of the crater with an expression that failed to hide his annoyance and caution.

Crawling out of the hole beneath him was Priya, who carried Olivia, Bibi, Ralph, Ben, Jocelyn, and Zion.

All of them set their gazes on the beastly titan in the distance, an entity that nearly covered the whole horizon with its sheer size.

"Primordial Lion..." The dragon commander hissed loudly.
