Chapter 424: Holy Sin Club
"You all are too young to enter, where are your parents?" A large bouncer said, standing at the entrance to a club.
The club was bustling and had different adults going in and coming out. Men wearing nice clothes, women wearing skimpy dresses. It was a sight to see for the young minds.
"Oh, I’m with them," Isabel said with a gentle smile and a strange glint flashing in her red eyes.
The bouncer looked at her from head to toe, acknowledging that this young woman who looked like she had just ascended past her teen years was quite stunning.
Her red eyes and red hair cast a fiery ambience around her, like a stubborn vixen. It was a vibrant aura that attracted a lot of men and caused a lot of people to keep staring at her.
Besides Isabel, Ozia, along with his brothers and sisters were surrounding her, eager to enter the nightclub.
At the top of the front entrance of this club, a glowing sign read [Holy Sin Club].
The youngsters looked at all the human men and women frolicking around the entrance of the club. Some of them were stumbling out of the club, heavily drunk.
Ozia looked at some of the women, his young eyes feeding on the sensual imagery for a while before he forced himself to look away.
Isabel was here and she couldn’t afford to make it look like he was thinking of other women besides her.
Isabel noticed Ozia’s conscious efforts to quell his curiosity for these women and smiled. It was satisfying to know that even in her absence, she would still have some control over the mind of the first prince.
"Sorry miss, I can’t let you in with these children, who does that?" The bouncer said, feeling frustrated.
"Oh, is it because we look like children? We are more of an adult than you, mister," Kratos said before laughing boisterously.
The bouncer frowned, "Okay, if you don’t leave, I’ll have to call the police. What are you doing with these children at a club anyway?"
Raymond and Victor, the Electric and Fire lions respectively who looked alike even though they weren’t twins, looked at each other and shook their heads.
"I like the smell of that liquid coming from inside, I want to try it," Victor said, his nose twitching and his fiery red eyes gleaming with interest.
The bouncer scoffed, no longer interested in what this colorful bunch had to say.
"Hey, Hannah, I thought your luck would rub off on these things. I actually want to taste those drinks too," Raymond said to the chubby and shy girl at the back.
Besides Dorothy who was with her mother, Hannah was the youngest among the group.
Compared to the others, she was a bit on the shorter side and lacked any domineering presence.
At least, she appeared to be harmless because her true powers were not visible through her physical traits.
"I don’t know, I don’t want to go in there," Hannah said timidly. In front of her siblings, she could act shy and defenseless. But anytime she glanced at the bouncer, a sharp glint would flash in her eye.
"Ah, no wonder it’s not working, Hannah, please..." Jeremiah said with pleading gestures toward his little sister. His two antlers were gone and the only immediate peculiarity was his green hair.
"You’re right," Silas added, "We shouldn’t even be here, we should be finding houses to rest our heads or traces of the Primordial."
With Hannah and Silax having made their decision, there was a stalemate.
"You guys need to leave..." The bouncer said and began to release threatening slurs at the colorful group,"
"Hey, get out of the way you moron!" At the back, one young lady could not hold it back and shouted at the group.
Isabel turned around with a fierce killing in her eyes. The girl she looked at caught that malicious gaze and couldn’t help but shrink back into the crowd.
Seeing the annoyed expression appearing on his beloved face, Ozia felt the need to step up and fix everything.
He didn’t want her to get angry over anything at all.
"Hey, listen, do you know who we are?" He asked, causing his siblings to look at him weirdly.
To them, it was starting to look like Ozia was losing intelligence every time he was close to Isabel.
Ozia looked around and saw the disapproving glares from his siblings, even Hannah.
But two palms rested gently on his shoulders, providing him with the comfort he needed to stand strong and keep his head held high.
"No, I don’t, but once the police get here, I’ll know," The bouncer said as he picked up his phone to call the police.
Lightning flashed from Rachel’s fingertips, striking the phone off the man’s ears and turning the sophisticated piece of technology into scrap.
The bouncer was stunned, he didn’t see clearly where the streak of electricity had come from but his intuition told him the children had something to do with it.
Suddenly, the children heard a low, guttural growl. Not from the bouncer but from someone inside.
Silas raised one of his eyebrows in wonder, "Why can’t I sense the aura of a powerful being here? That growl..."
At first, he wasn’t interested in entering this club, not because the activities were strange, but because there were many other places to explore.
Not to mention that Isabel was constantly giving Ozia suggestions so that he would do what she wanted.
Whether Isabel knew it or not, the children of Kael were becoming annoyed with her existence and if she wasn’t careful, things could get ugly.
The only reason they were still acting so civil and cool around her was because of Ozia. Ozia would definitely lose his cool if anyone tried anything with Isabel.
’This needs to end,’ Silas thought, trying to think up schemes of how he could open Ozia’s eyes.
Normally it wasn’t his business but now that it had gotten to this level where Ozia even favored the words of a fox over his own siblings, something had to be done.
But it had to be done smartly.
This trip to Planet Kareem was bound to be...memorable.
"Are we still entering?" Kratos asked Silas, seeing as that growl had attracted all their attention. They all wanted to see what was in it.
One of the children, a girl, stood silently at the back close to Hannah. She was wearing all black and had very pale skin with inky black hair falling to her waist.
She bore a striking resemblance to Zabita as she was the latter’s daughter.
This little girl had been standing quietly ever since they got here, just listening to the conversations while she focused on the different metals around her.
The edges of her lips curved up slightly, she could feel everything, all the metals that had been refined and molded into different shapes around her.
Technology made use of metals a lot.
As a young metal lioness, to be surrounded by so much unused refined metal was truly satisfying.
She edged her way closer to the entrance of the club, fascinated by the little pieces of metal attached to the bouncer’s belt.
Meanwhile, the others were oblivious to their creepy sister’s amusement and were still talking among themselves and with the bouncer.
However, the talk was starting to turn aggressive very fast.
"SILAS! FRY THE FUCKER’S BRAIN FOR ME!" Ozia shouted with righteous fury. He took deep breaths in and out, trying to suppress his anger.
Levitation runes lit up on his feet but Isabel’s hands kept him grounded. Even though Isabel didn’t want to disobey N’bayé, she didn’t dare to.
Silas sighed, since they all wanted to enter the club, he might as well do something.
He raised his grey eyes to look at the bouncer and was about to activate his powers when something else caught his attention.
Off in the distance, quite far away from this place, Silas picked up the aura of the Spirit Mark left on someone by his mother.
’Hmm,’ Silas turned around, his eyes instantly piercing into the minds of the humans who were close to the holder of the Spirit Mark.
He saw it, a black car with two passengers inside.
Instantly, he conveyed information to their collective spirit channel. The aura of the Spirit Mark was shared and any Spirit-based creature here would be able to recognize it.
Silas had a feeling that this Holy Sin Club could lead them to what they were looking for, especially since he had heard that wolfish growl.
He didn’t want to leave the club now, but that spirit mark was important.
"We’re on it, Young Prince," Silas soon received a response from one of the wolf squads close to the car. They had detected a spirit mark and were already in pursuit.
Silas smiled, then turned his attention away from the spirit mark to look at what was happening here...
"Get away from me you creep!"
*SLAP!*
The sound of flesh striking metal was heard as Silas witnessed the bouncer slap his sister.
Zabita’s daughter stood there stunned. The slap didn’t hurt, but it was stunning. She looked at the bouncer as though she were looking at the biggest idiot in the world.
As expected, the collective killing intent that rushed out from her siblings was so strong it threatened to pierce the sky.
"The audacity..."
